Believe It Or Not, You Really Can Have It All!

CAMP HILL, PA (April 25, 2007)—JDK Catering, Inc. announces the opening of a party rental division and expansion of its event design and production division.

From its modest beginnings operating Riverside Village Park food concessions on Harrisburg’s City Island in 1987, Jennifer Delaye, company founder and CEO, has built a virtual empire in the catering industry in Central PA.

Record Growth in Sales – With sales of $2.8M in 2006, JDK recorded its fifth consecutive year of double digit growth, averaging over 18% per year since 2001. Currently, the company employs 45 full time and over 100 part-time employees. Primary operating facilities include a recently purchased 18,500 sq.ft. warehouse located in Camp Hill.

Essential Party Rentals by JDK - Essential is set to open to the public on May 9, 2007. The division will offer some of the caterer’s best party supplies for rent including tables, chairs, china, glassware, and linens. In addition, Essentials will offer unique props and hard-to-find products, such as castles, costumes, pirate ships, and square seating tables that can make even a novice party planner look like a pro! Essential Party Rentals will operate out of the same facility as the catering operations in Camp Hill. Services will include delivery and pick-up as well as easy ordering via a new website, www.essentialpartyrentals.com.

Essential Party Rentals Imagine Event Design and Production - While these services are already being provided by JDK’s in-house event planning staff, the company will now target other events not related to food services with the opening of Imagine. Over the last several years, the JDK staff has performed on several high-profile events including the HIA grand opening, Commerce Bank grand opening, and Governor Rendell’s second inauguration gala for 5,000 guests. Delaye remains optimistic that her event planning and design staff are capable of bringing the “WOW” factor to events up and down the East Coast. This division will begin marketing services to major metropolitan areas such as Washington, DC, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia.

Three for the price of one; Catering, rentals, and event production! – Jen Delaye proudly states “my goal is to continue to lead the way by bringing the freshest and best ideas to Central PA”. Delaye regularly attends trade shows and conferences to bring home ideas for implementation into her own market. Delaye was recently selected to serve as a board member of the International Caterer’s Association (ICA) and featured in the May/June 2007 issue of CATERSOURCE Magazine, a national publication directed to catering industry professionals.

With the addition of the two new divisions, Delaye will most likely reorganize her corporate structure by renaming the parent company to The JDK Corporation. JDK Catering, Essential Party Rentals and Imagine Event Design and Production will operate as its divisions.
